π₯ Prep
- Measure 200 ml of water and pour into a small saucepan.
- Rinse 1 tsp of Tulsi (holy basil) leaves under cool water and pat dry.
π₯ Cook
- 1. Place the saucepan over high heat and bring the water to a rolling boil for 2 minutes.
- 2. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and add the rinsed Tulsi leaves.
- 3. Let the tea steep for 5 minutes, uncovered, to extract the flavor.
- 4. After steeping, remove the saucepan from heat and strain the tea into a cup using a fineβmesh sieve.
- 5. Optional: stir in 1 tsp of honey or a slice of lemon while the tea is still warm.

- Serve the Tulsi tea hot in a mug or teacup.
- Enjoy plain or with a drizzle of honey and a wedge of lemon on the side.
