Full recipe instructions for preparing Gnocchi with Marinara
🔥 Prep
- Measure out 500 g of gnocchi and have them ready.
- Measure out 300 ml of tomato sauce.
- Measure out 2 tbsp of grated Parmesan cheese.
- Measure out 1 tsp of dried basil (or fresh, chopped).
- Measure out 1 tbsp of olive oil.
🔥 Cook
- 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil over high heat.
- 2. Add the 500 g gnocchi and cook for 2–3 minutes or until they float to the surface, then remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
- 3. While the gnocchi cook, heat the 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- 4. Pour in the 300 ml tomato sauce and stir; let it simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- 5. Add the cooked gnocchi to the sauce and toss to coat; cook for 2 minutes over medium-low heat to absorb flavors.

- 7. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed; keep warm over low heat until ready to serve.
🔥 Serve

- Garnish with fresh basil leaves or a drizzle of olive oil for added aroma.
- Serve alongside a simple green salad with lemon vinaigrette or crusty garlic bread.
