By downloading, installing, registering, or using Cook Planner, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Services.

2. User Accounts & Responsibilities

To access certain features (such as creating family groups, saving custom recipes, and syncing meal plans), you must register for an account.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account or within your family group.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Attempting to bypass API authentication mechanisms or access unauthorized family workspaces.
• Using automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to disrupt service performance.
• Uploading harmful code, malicious content, or offensive material to public recipe databases.
• Reverse-engineering or attempting to extract source code from the mobile applications.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

The Cook Planner application software, logo, design system, brand identity, and master recipe database are the intellectual property of Cook Planner. Custom recipes and meal plans created by you remain your property, but you grant Cook Planner a limited license to process and display that content within your active family group.

5. Service Availability & Modifications

We continuously update and optimize Cook Planner. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Services at any time with or without prior notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any service modifications or downtime.

6. Limitation of Liability

Cook Planner is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cook Planner disclaims all warranties, express or implied. Cook Planner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Services or recipe ingredient scaling calculations.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to Cook Planner immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms of Service or misuse system API endpoints.
